The Company was awarded U.S. patent 6,834,958, covering the Digicat Imager™,, “Instruments and Methods for Examining and Quantifying Cataracts” in December 2004. International patents covering the DigiCat Imager™ are pending.

On December 28, 2004 the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office awarded VPI U.S. patent 6,836,337 covering the GlucoScope™ Monitor. International patents covering the GlucoScope™ Monitor are pending.

U.S. and international patents will be filed on the VisPath Analyzer™ upon completion of a human clinical study now underway at the University of Iowa Department of Neuro-ophthalmology.
